On Monday Anjay, a rapper from Germany, visited Mana College to rap with the year 10 German, year 11 German and Te Whare Ako students. He showed us how to connect through music regardless of the languages spoken.

Anjay was welcomed on with a beautiful pōwhiri before the Yr.10 German students had a chance to practice beatboxing on the mic. Yr.11 followed in period two with many questions asked around how to produce music and how to become a rapper.

His last stop was in Te Whare Ako where Anjay gave a small concert soon supported by Cooper Matheson (Yr.9).
