The Mitre 10 Ambassador celebration was held on Tuesday at school. The students have been working in the weekends at Mitre 10 over the last two terms. They have gone through an induction programme with Mitre 10 and have gained experience working with staff and also customers.

The students were able to develop their skills in a work environment.

It was a great opportunity to celebrate their success with Liz and Jenni from Mitre 10 and Rachel from Partners Porirua. Some of the students have applied for part time work or holiday work when the exams have finished. A big thankyou to Mitre 10 again for providing an opportunity for students and to Partners Porirua for administering the programme.
