A huge welcome back to Mana College for the 2020 academic year and especially to our new students who have come to Mana College for their first year.

It is a privilege to welcome these students and whanau to Mana College and we are very excited as we learn about the talents, skills and capabilities they bring to our classrooms, sports fields, marae and our stage. 2020 plans to be a year of promise, change and achievement.

We celebrated this on Tuesday with a school Powhiri and it was great to see so many whanau and students participating in this process.

This year our roll will be the largest for 10 years (485 currently) at the start of the academic year. Our zone also has determined that a large number of enrolment applications have not been accepted as we focus on providing educational opportunities for Western Porirua.
