Forklift Course - Last Thursday and Friday, 9 Year 13 students completed a course to get their forklift licence. The course was held at Axiom Training Centre in Elsdon. The students did very well and gained valuable skills and their licence. The experience will help them with future employment.

Three students were interviewed for The Downer Youth 2 work Programme. Two of the students were successful and will be mentored and employed by Downer in the holidays.

Mahi Rangatahi (Porirua City Council) Programme. Three Mana students were interviewed for this programme by The Porirua City Council. If successful they will do a placement in different areas of the council and will learn some valuable work skills.

Coming up this term - Victoria University is visiting Mana on Thursday the 4th of April at 1.25pm . Students who are interested in going to university next year should go along to the presentation. Also Otago University is visiting Mana on Wednesday the 10th of April at 10.30am.
