Free internet is available for households with a school-aged child and no current connection.

To be eligible, households are to have a school-age child living there at least part of the time, and no current home internet connection. The Ministry is paying for the installation and monthly costs until 30 June 2024, and we’re working on the solution for beyond (no obligation on families to take it up).

This is a really significant opportunity to help your learners have access to the internet from home across the school holidays, to continue their learning when they’re not at school, and to ensure their whānau is connected to digital life.
