On the evening of Friday 22nd of March we took 17 students to see Black Grace dance companies new work " paradise rumour" . This dance work explored the idea of Pacifica people's place in NZ and the impact of colonisation has had on these communities.

Performed at the St James students loved the building and the dance work. Many commented on how fit these dancers were to have the stamina to keep dancing for 1 hour no break! Students enjoyed the visual metaphors and got to think about the issues that's the piece explored in a different way.
