Porirua Arts Trail

Hilary Milne —

The Porirua Arts trail is just around the corner!

The Porirua Arts Trail is coming up quickly, with the event happening next weekend! Mana College has been lucky enough to be a part of this affair, and we are proud to be a hub for the trail this year.

The trail is operating from the 18th-19th of March from 10am to 4pm and features many talented artists from the Porirua to Tawa area.

Our Hub at Mana College is going to be located down at D Block, and most of the arts rooms are going to be available for your perusal. The exciting part about the trail this year is that not only is there going to be art available for viewing, but there is also going to be art available for purchase! Many of our students have been putting in the mahi to produce some wonderful pieces of art, alongside Ei Katu.

We are also going to be hosting a 'Have a go' Tapa Cloth in one of our rooms.

We are hoping to get the BBQ going for a sausage sizzle, but this depends on the ever variable weather!

We're expecting to host a couple of other community artists as part of this hub, so if you come down you will be able to see some fabulous work from not only our students, but from some of our talented Porirua artists

.

If you are interested in displaying your work as part of the hub, please feel free to get in contact with Hilary, the arts coordinator at hilarym@mana.school.nz

We hope to see as many beautiful faces down at our Arts Hub from 10am-4pm next Saturday and Sunday.

See you all there!
