NZ Race Relations Day, Thursday 21st March 2019

A group of Mana College students and staff went to the launch of the Poetry book called "More of us"at the National Library in Wellington.

Poems in the book were from different refugee and migrants from around the world. Five Mana College students had their Poems published in the book.Mohammad El Fares (Year 10) was one of the writers who read his poems during the evening to the audience, which consisted of dignitaries, friends and families.

The book of Poems highlighted refugee experiences and celebrated diversity within NZ.
