Our fantastic yr 9's and 10's have been having a great deal of fun in the kitchen this term. Our unit for these akonga is based on the movie Avatar! You know the one I mean......with the blue (Navi) people.

We have been cooking all sorts. We've made cupcakes and had fun icing them (always a fun and sugar filled lesson) which was all about being creative and using our fine motor skills. We've also made pikelets and sausage rolls among other dishes.

So much fun and I can see some fantastic chefs in the making!
