On Tuesday Mana College held the very keenly anticipated Beard trophy draw. 

This was a very nice event starting with a powhiri and finishing with each captain pulling their playing order out of the Beard Trophy. 

The trophy is a Taonga for our community and its significance was spoken about. The trophy has been shared around recently and Mana College 1st XV is excited about the challenge of attempting to retain the trophy for another year.

Tawa College will have the first challenge on May 25th at Jerry Collins Stadium. Followed by Bishop Viard, then Porirua and finally Aotea.
