ATTENDANCE MATTERS

Marion Tuite —

As we start the new year, we want to stress the importance of regular attendance at school for students at all year levels.

Coming to school every day is really important for all our Rangatahi to achieve their dreams and aspirations and for their well being. As parents/whanau and caregivers, you play the most important role in making sure our ākonga regularly attend school.

We are taking all the steps we can to ensure that students are actively involved in their learning and feel a sense of belonging here at Mana. If you are having problems getting your son/daughter to school, please let us know so we can support you and your whanau.

If your child is sick or away for the day for another reason, it is important you contact the school straight away. Remember that one day away from school in a fortnight is a month missed each year.
