In late May the Library successfully applied for a grant from the Pelorus Trust to the amount of $5800.00. The purpose of the grant was to purchase books, primarily Manga novels, which are the most popular genre of book in the Library, New Zealand sporting heroes, art books and fiction books. All in all over 300 books have been purchased.
