A good first up defense by the 1st XV over Tawa with a 48-10 win. 

It started with a stirring haka and the team then looked slick for periods of the game and was an enjoyable night for the team, particularly the 11 players playing their first beard trophy game. We scored 8 tries; Hunter Sao 3, Randall Paenga, Siaosi Siupolu, Jason Faleafaga, Javarn Watyers-Tautuhi and Tino Afele. The team was well led by Randall Paenga. 

We look forward to the next challenge of Bishop Viard on Wednesday 8th June and will do what we can to ensure we are well prepared. Thanks to Norths for hosting us in an after match function.
