This was a fabulous day out and introduction to the Arts at Mana College. 

 The students caught the train into Wellington and walked passed the Beehive up to the Botanical Gardens.

It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed the sights and sounds on the journey. It is the start of the Year 9 students' journey through the Arts and also the beginning of an exciting collaboration between Visual and Performing Arts. 

All the Art teachers at Mana College went on the trip. At the gardens we took the students through four rotations of performing or visual arts activities. The students behaved really well and participated in the activities with enthusiasm. Watch this space.
