Welcome to Term 3

John Murdoch —

Noa’ia ‘emauri, Bula Vinaka, Fakaalofa lahi atu, Fakatalofa atu, Kia orana, Mālō e lelei, Mālō nī,Talofa lava, Tēnā koutou katoa and warm Pacific greetings to you all.

Thank you for a positive and settled start to Term 3. When I think back to how Term 2 started, it is amazing the feeling of what a difference a term makes! Students and staff are really glad to be back with their friends and into the routine of school.

Thank you also if you attended our Open Evening and Art Exhibition on Wednesday. Over 200 people enjoyed both events, which gave our students an opportunity to showcase their creativity, talents and skills. It's clear to see that our students are very proud of this school and this was clearly evident on the night. A particular thanks to Shelley McCarthy, Tupe Papali'i and Anshu Malhotra.

Our winter sports programmes are now in full swing and beginning to fully blossom. Our Senior boys and girls basketball have made it through to Prem's  and so have both our Junior teams.  This is a huge achievement and the boys premier side returning to the top league for the first time in over 10 years.

The U15 rugby team have also made it into the the top division and are playing really beautiful rugby. Our Netball teams have much talent and our top team have made it into Division 1.

Our 1st XV Rugby have also me the Premiership - Tranzit Cup and play Wellington College at 1pm at Mana. Come down to support the team if you can!

Have a great term. Mana with Mana
