Our senior boys played in the 2019 National School Basketball Championship tournament and reached the semi- finals, losing to St Kevin’s. The team won the 3rd/4th play off and finished 3rd in the country. Levi Ware and Kawharu Hippolite made the tournament team. 

This rounds off a very positive season, not only for this team but for Basketball at Mana. 

I would like to congratulate all our Basketball coaches (Junior Girls A - Wade Reweti, Junior Boys A - Arana Kenny, Junior Boys - Tu Umaga-Marshall, Senior Girls - Tu Umaga-Marshall, Senior Boys A - Randall Bishop and Hyrum Hippolite. Senior Boys B - Andrew Moe, Senior Boys C - Tony Tavai) and the players who have represented ‘Mana with Mana’ this year.
