A good day yesterday at the 2nd annual Kahui Whetu O Porirua Athletics competition.
We finished 2nd place this year, with Aotea taking out the shield. Some excellent performances across the board.
Some particularly impressive performances of note were Sione Baker winning the 100m, 200m, Long jump and High Jump, Arkaid Edmonds winning the U/16 Boys Javelin with an impressive throw of 37m and Sakaraia Nasau winning the hotly contested U/14 boys discus event.
