Elections will be held on Wednesday 21 September

Eva Bishop

Kia Ora, Talofa, Malo and many more warm pacific greetings.

My name is Eva Bishop, I am a year 12 student soon to be year 13. I am running to be re-elected for the student board of trustees. I would like to be re-elected so that I can carry on listening to all of our students and make those student lead changes.

We have already had some amazing changes this year regarding uniform and student wellbeing. I would love to be the student that continues to help the school thrive through all of your amazing voices.

I hope that next year our students are able to make the changes they want through their voices.

My name is Myles Stuart and I am running for 2023 Mana College student board of trustees. I am looking forward to working harmoniously with this school’s board as well as making this school a better place for all.

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a year 12 and have been trying my hardest to make this school more accepting since my first year in 2019. Since 2019 I have succeeded in starting up a pride group and organised pride week 2022.

I believe my background knowledge with mental health, disability, and pride make me a worthy candidate for this position.

These are my goals for this school:

• Making Hau Ora a loving environment for everyone to feel safe in

• Bringing attention to mental health and silent disabilities (such as autism) and show that it’s okay to be open about them

• Making this school a safe environment for LGBTQ+ students

• Bringing attention to the art side of the school rather than focusing on sports and more.

If you believe in my goals, please vote for me in the Mana College student board of trustees election. Thank you !
