The University of Otago Junior Mathematics Competition seeks entrance from interested Year 9-11 students from across New Zealand.

Entrants sit an on-line multiple choice and short answer test at a time and date chosen by their school in the week beginning Monday 4 April. Top competitors will then be invited to sit a written long answer test on Wednesday 11 May.

The top 50% of each year level in the first test will receive certificate attesting to their achievement, and there are cash prizes for the top 30 placings in each year level in the second test.
