First I want to give thanks to the man above for guiding us through this week. Goal was to make this week flow, and it flowed with vibe and energy. Everyday we started off with Proverbs over the intercom & we got activities done through the week during lunchtimes.
Specials thank you to a few people that I would love to acknowledge that helped make this week a blast. Te Uri o Whiti Te Ra mai Le Moana Trust for collaborating with us on Monday and Tuesday and showing us a bit of Siva Samoa & who they are, and Tuesday with abit of mini games done in the hall . Wednesday we ended the assembly with the Samoan group singing a Viiga (Praise Song). We also had a group Teine Sa (Florence Silva, Tusi Partsch & Ramona Silva) come in and perform a Siva Samoa - What a way to showcased Samoa here at Mana College. Special mention to the Silva Family (Ramona's Aiga) for the staff feast that we had provided for them, also Tina Moni for the amazing Pineapple Pie, definitely giving them a taste of Samoa. We are super grateful for everyone that participated in all the events - (Teachers & Students) that have happened this week and also PB4L Meaalofa (Which is to speak the language to be in the draw to win a chocolate , Badge - Ao & a Certificate) It wasn't only about the prize it was about getting everyone involved in Speaking the language.
