On Thursday 20 February, the Year 10 Navigating Technology class had the opportunity to visit Te Papa Tongarewa. 

Students had a tour of the waka/vaka that were used to travel to Aotearoa and what people needed to being with them. They also had an introduction to new apps to create various images.  

Students were introduced to MakeyMakey. This requires a current which can be made through skin contact but not through clothes!!. 1 person is the 'earth'. We made a 10 person circle to control the game. FUN!

In groups, students created a game or story using the skills they had learned which they shared with the class.
