This year we are pleased to announce the success of our Driver Programme that operated through the Transition Department.

Approximately 30 students passed their Learners Licence (Through Driving course that were run with the help of Partners Porirua), six students were part of the Driving Mentoring Programme that operated within the school (also with the help of Partners Porirua) All six completed their Restructured Licence.

Three students completed a Defensive Driving Course, which is run at the school for the community.Ten of our Transition students completed their Forklift Licence and one student finished his Wheels, Trades and Rollers.

All these qualifications and skills will help the students gain employment in the future.
