Pacific Samoa Radio

What an experience! Thank you to Hana Tusa & Afamasaga from Samoa Captial Radio for this opportunity & to be able to do this sort of work for Mana College along with Mose Skipworth from Porirua College who also does similar roles.
Mose, Keep up the work that you do for Porirua College. First time going live to talk about what I do at Mana College! The space I am in is unheard of from the community (after this I hope it’s known) & a lot of families, don’t realize how big of a job it is to be in the space in schools to work with families, students & the community regarding attendance, the amount of work that you put into pacific learners to get them to engage & finding solutions that would work to keep them in school. Special mention to the organisation's & groups that are here helping & supporting our pasifika learners.
Just a quick encouragement for our parents:
“We want the best for our kids“ and this is what our parents would always say, and my advice to our listeners today - don’t give up on kids when the going gets tough. They need you the most especially when things get too overwhelming. Be present at all times because the meaning of my role is “I only want the best for your child - our Pasifika learners.”
I will forever be grateful for big opportunities like this! Thank you to everyone that was behind the scene of making this possible.
