Aladdin

Jacs Nordon —

We are making progress with the preparations for the production. Rosie Moxley managed to bag the huge stairs from the recent production of Hamlet in the Botannical Gardens in Town, which Tam and Tiori, helpfully went and picked up. The stairs will be a great asset to our set.

Furthermore, Scots College, have loaned us their collection of costumes from a recent production of Aladdin. As you can see from the photo, they are fantastic costumes and we are really grateful to Paula Eastman, the HoD of Drama at Scots for her time.

We have not got every costume that we need from this generous loan, (so we will still need to fundraise and have help) but it goes a long way towards helping us stage this great show.

Finally we are staging a fundraising variety show in Wellington. This is an 18+ event on Friday 12th April,at the Tuatara , the Third Eye. The show includes singing, dancing and stand up comedy provided by teachers and professional musicians/ comedians.

Tickets will be on sale from Wednesday next week. There is an auction to raise money, if you have any items you would like to donate for the auction, please get in touch. jacquelineno@mana.school.nz
