Year 13 student Anthony Ilton-Maher captains the winning Manawatu-Whanganui Under 19 team in the annual Shand Cup Golf Tournament.
The tournament was held in Wellington on 16th and 17th April.
In the first round they beat Hawkes Bay, 3.5 0.5
They then beat Wellington 3-1 in round two and Taranaki 2-2 in round three to win the trophy!
Anthony is heading down to Christchurch next weekend to compete in the South Island Cup. We wish you all the best.
