High Performance Programme students Connor Thwaites and Aymee and Charlotte Blight complete the Tararua District Hall Block Humdinger.
The 12.5km Hall Block Humdinger started at 11:00am at the Ferry Reserve, off SH3 on the Woodville side of the Manawatu Gorge.
This was a challenging out-and-back course on a shingle road. The students faced a steady climb up to the woolshed, where they turned-around and from there the Humdinger transformed into a mad dash, as participants sped down a steep descent back to the bottom of Hall Block Road. From there they had a short final flat stretch along Gorge Road and across the Ballance Bridge bringing them to the finish at the Ferry Reserve.
Congratulations Connor, Aymee and Charlotte!
