Chelsea Parlato  was the sole Manawatu College representative at the Manawatu Inter-Secondary Swimming Sports earlier this year and she performed exceptionally well. 

Chelsea’s results were:

• 50m Breaststroke ~ 3rd place
  
• 100m Breaststroke ~ 2nd place
  
• 200m Breaststroke ~ 1st place
  
• 100m Individual Medley ~ 2nd place
  

In addition to her individual success, Chelsea also swam as part of a mixed four-person relay team and that team won both of their relays: the 200m Freestyle Relay and the 200m Medley Relay.
