Making the transition into College from primary school or intermediate can be daunting, so one of the first events on the calendar is the year 9 Orientation Camp, held at the Foxton Beach Bible Camp.

The Year 9 Camp is a chance for our new year 9 students to get to know others in a setting that is away from school, allowing them to build relationships with students and staff. It is beneficial for students to gain an understanding of what is expected in college and to develop a structure of support for those that have any specific social or emotional needs.

With the year 9 students being new to the school, this also gives them the opportunity to get to know some of the senior leadership team and senior staff.

The students had an amazing time!
