This began with the Dawn Service at the Cenotaph. Senior students Trevor Clement and Niamh Hicks were the flag bearers for the RSA and lead the march from the clubrooms to the Cenotaph.

Head Student Navah Chapman recited The Ode in English and our other Head Student, Saffron Oka recited it in Maori. Montarne Murphy-Lahina and Keyshawn Kiriona raised the flag.

There was also a Civic Service held in Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom at 9 am where our student leaders gave a background to the poppy emblem and recited the poems, 'In Flanders Fields' and 'We Shall Keep The Faith', as well as messages from the Governor-General of New Zealand and the Right Honourable Jacinda Ardern, Prime Minister of New Zealand.

This concluded with a march to the Cenotaph, where Saffron Oka read The Roll of Honour.
