On Monday 24th June, 30 of our students attended the Pae Taiohi Regional Secondary Schools Kapa Haka Competition at the Regent Theatre in Palmerston North.

This experience saw them view performances by the best kapa haka groups from this region as well as interact and talk to performers of their own age, to gain valuable insight into the practices of our tipuna in relation to kapa haka, enhancing their own aspirations. 

The group had a shared lunch in the square and also visited Te Manawa.
