On Sunday 18th March, Manawatu College entered a Junior and a Senior team into the Condor Sevens Qualifying Tournament held in Palmerston North.

The senior team came and honorable third place and for the first time in our history defeated the PNBHS A team, 22-17. A narrow defeat to Manukura by just two points 17-19 saw our boys take out third spot.

Our juniors finished fourth with an excellent win over TU TOA to finish the day.

It has been a great start to the season and we wish the teams all the best for their respective 15s seasons.
