On Friday 8th June rock band Fusion, consisting of year 13 student Justin Jurgens and younger brother Brad, competed in the Smokefree Rockquest regional finals at the Globe Theater in Palmerston North.

Fusion have entered the national Smokefree Rockquest Competition for the last four years running and last year they received their highest placing when they came third.

Last night they put on a fantastic show and received the "Fatboy Style" award for their performance.  

They have clearly developed and grown musically and even become more cohesive as a unit.  I'm so proud of these two!"   Mr Kingi
