Year 9 student Jorja Anderson, and year 11 students Taylor Stevens, Miniah Summerell, Shelby Wells and Chloe Wright all coached by Mr Nation, represented Nation Barbell Club at the event, held in Upper Hutt.

Jorja -  Competition PB snatch at 31kg, competition PB clean and jerk at 38kg for a PB total of 69kg. That is a massive 14kg PB total. Congratulations Jorja.

Shelby -  Second place in the Over 15s Under 59kg division.  Well done Shelby.

Taylor - First place in the Under 15s Under 76kg division. Competition best snatch at 36kg, competition best clean and jerk at 46kg and competition best total at 82kg. Congratulations Taylor.

Chloe -Competition equalling best snatch at 38kg, personal best clean and jerk at 55kg, and personal best competition total at 93kg. Awesome competition for Chloe!

Miniah -First place for 81kg+ division. A PB snatch at 76kg, a massive 90kg clean and jerk for a total of 166kg. Congratulations Miniah.

To say they were outstanding does not give them justice. Congratulations girls and coach, Mr Nation!
