Week three of term two was Anti-Bullying Week. Monday 14th May to Friday 18th May is an annual nationwide Bullying Prevention Week to raise awareness of how to prevent and respond to bullying and provide an opportunity for schools to highlight their everyday work to counter bullying.

There were many events throughout the week with a focus on manaakitanga.  On Monday there was a sausage sizzle at lunchtime for the students, cooked by the student leadership team.

On Tuesday there was a MANA teaching around bullying prevention at group time, as well as a basketball competition at lunchtime.

On Thursday there was a lunchtime music concert in the Hall where students showcased their vocal talents.  

The week concluded with a pink shirt mufti day and a special school Assembly.  Congratulations to year 11 students Jemma Bennett and Tiernan Spalding who won canteen vouchers for being the best dresed!
