On Thursday 3rd February we held a full school Pōwhiri to welcome all staff and students new to the College.

Whaea Mereana Hooker has been appointed as a fixed-term teacher for Term 1 teaching Year 10 Social Studies, Year 9 Food Technology and the balance of time for relief when there are gaps between classes. 

Mrs Anna Berry has been appointed to a similar position, but teaching Year 10 Maths, and Year 9 STEM.

Matua Poutama Taiaroa has been appointed to the fixed-term position as a teacher of PE and Health. Poutama is a first-year teacher who comes to us with a background in personal training and expertise in cross-fit, which will be a new class that will be offered to our senior students.

Mr Caleb Allison has been appointed as the TIC Social Sciences.

Whaea Lisa Frith has returned this year and is teaching a Year 10 Homeroom, Senior Maths and Year 7/8 Food Technology.

Mr John Manville has been appointed to teach Year 9 Homeroom and Junior Digital Technology.

Mr Ben McDonald also returns this year and is teaching a Year 9 Homeroom, Junior Maths and is the Year 9 Dean.
