In an attempt to reduce distractions in the classroom and reduce disruptions to teaching and learning, many schools are making the decision to ban cellphones at school. A decision has been made to trial the banning of all cellphones for year 9 and 10 students this year.

It is the expectation in 2020, that year 9 and 10 students will not bring their cell phones to school, or hand them in to the office in the morning and collect them in the afternoon.
