We are making changes in the way we communicate with you.

Mana Media —

Kia ora koutou, we are wanting to let you all know we have made some changes to the way we communicate to you all through Facebook.

It is essential to us that we remain connected to our local and wider school community. Facebook is a great way to get messages out there, and we have appreciated the positive feedback we receive from you all through social media.

Moving forward, this Facebook page will continue to be used to share student achievement, stories of success, and any key messages relating to Manawatū College. With just under 2000 people following this page, it is important that the communication you all receive from us is relevant and meaningful.

With this in mind, we have created a Private Facebook Group that is open to current students of Manawatū College and their parents/caregivers. We want to have a forum where we can send communication directly to current students and their families, for example making posts and announcements that relate to the running of our school, which don’t necessarily need to be shared on a community Facebook page.

That way, we can still share and celebrate our success with you all on the community page, and then keep messages relevant to those who are currently enrolled in a separate forum. We have sent invitations to current students and their families to join our Manawatū College (Private Group) through email.

Thank you for your continued support, we could not do this without you.
