Student felt artwork on display at Te Takere in Levin.
Local artist Birgit Moffat facilitated the community art project, which aimed to use the ancient craft of felt to build bridges between the generations.
The artwork was created in a series of workshops held at local schools, including Manawatu College, offering the students a space for people from different age groups to get to know each other and work together.
More than 60 participants between 4 and 82 years old learned how to make felt from wool, creating circles in a variety of colours and sizes that can now be seen and enjoyed by the public.
