Year 12 students Zac and Locky McKean compete in the New Zealand Junior Motocross Nationals!

Mana Media —

The national competition took place at the Taikorea Motocross Park in Glen Oroua, on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th April.

Zac and Locky raced seven races and three practice rounds in the 14-16-year-old, 250 class division.  This required a huge physical effort, considering both boys were under injury clouds.   Locky had a broken finger before he started the competition and Zac popped his shoulder out in race two and had to promptly pop it back in mid-race to finish the event!

Locky placed 17th and Zac placed 18th overall in the competition.  Well done, boys!
