Samantha Hansen earns a gold and a bronze medal at the New Zealand Weightlifting National Championships!

On Saturday 7th October Sam competed in the New Zealand Weightlifting Nationals held at the Edgar Center in Dunedin.

Sam finished the intense competition with a personal best 71kg snatch and personal best 91kg clean and jerk for a personal best total of 162kg.

Sam finished as junior champion earning a gold medal and took out third place as a senior, earning a bronze medal.

Well done, Sam!
