While most of us were clinging on to the end of our summer holidays, year 13 student Chelsea Parlato was competing in her first major swimming competition of the year.
On the 20th to 23rd of January, Chelsea competed against some of the best swimmers in the country in the Swimming Wellington Summer Long Course Championships.
Chelsea entered the following events and swam extremely well in all. These were her times:
- Women 100m Back - 1:22.93
- Women 50m Fly - 35:46
- Women 200m Fly - 3:03.15
- Women 100m Breast - 1:34.94
- Women 100m Free - 1:14.81
- Women 100m Fly - 1:21.25
- Women 200m Breast - 3:22.52
