Between the 15th and 25th May , students from 27 different countries were tested on their Language skills, including reading, writing, listening, dictation and grammar.
Students gained points by answering questions, and as they reached certain thresholds they earned certificates and went in the draw for some great prizes, including a MacBook Air, i-pods and i-tunes vouchers.
Year 9 student Lillian Walker, and Year 10 students Emily Hincks, Hayley Sullivan, and Laurel Anderson gained Credit Awards and placed in the top 20% of the 350 000 students who competed from around the world!
Year 9 student Rose Lake earned a Bronze award, placing her in the top 10%.
Year 10 student Ash Dalton earned a Silver Award, placing in the top 5% of competitors.
Well done, girls! A fabulous achievement!
