A star in the making - Vettori Whaitiri.

Congratulations to year 9 student Vettori Whaitiri who represented Manawatu College over the weekend, singing at a Rotary Club 'High Tea' which was a fundraiser for women's refuge.

She was very well received by the crowd and was described as, "a natural entertainer with a wonderful voice".

Vettori was also one of four year 9 students to join the Kapa Haka roopu 'Nga Wai o Mana Whenua' where she has been given a duet with the male leader for the regional competition in July.

Well done, Vettori!
