Te Awahou Nieuwe Stroom Opening

They met and took photos with the Ambassador for the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Rob Zaagman, and the MP for Otaki Nathan Guy. Some or our leaders and staff were there from 4am attending the blessing.

There was a television crew from Holland there, and they were especially excited to get footage of kapa haka roopu Nga Wai O ManaWhenua performing at the end. 

About 300 attended the two hour pre dawn blessing and about 1000 the 10am Official Opening, including three cabinet ministers.  A very significant day in the history of Foxton.
