On Tuesday 11 April the Year 11 Te Wero class with Mr Napier and Mr Taru completed their second of three tramps for their ABL unit.
The students are currently completing an Action Based Learning unit in Te Wero and the three tramps they complete are worth a total of 4 credits.
The first of the three tramps was to Foxton Beach in Week Four.
Trig was the second of the three tramps. It took less than 30 minutes for the boys, laden with their heavy packs to hike up the hill. "The view of Levin, wider Foxton and the Manawatu River was a highlight" said Taylor Gautusa.
The tramp concluded with a swim at Gladstone River where the boys enjoyed, "popping some fat manus".
The third tramp is scheduled for the Sledge Track in Palmerston North in Term two.
Thanks to Mr Napier and Mr Taru for organising and supervising the trip.
