The Mapua Easter Fair

Sharon Prestidge —

Sunday April 21st: 9am – 3pm @ The Mapua Domain ($2 entry with under-fives free)

The school holidays and Easter are finally here so it’s time for the Mapua Easter Fair!

A huge thank you to everyone for supporting the fair in so many ways. Without this support it couldn’t take place every year. An extra big thank you goes out to all those in the organising team that have gone above and beyond over term one.

On the day keep an eye out for:

  • The White Elephant: come grab a bargain
  • The Silent Auction: in the Mapua Hall with so many great items up for auction
  • PTA café: serving up delicious treats as always in the Mapua hall
  • Stallholders: a lot of new stallholders this year along with many of the old favourites
  • Food vendors: a massive variety of food on offer
  • The Lego exhibition & play pit: back in the Mapua Hall and it’s free!
  • Playcentre: grounds are open with heaps of fun activities for pre-schoolers throughout the day
  • Fairground rides, ponies, bouncy castles: all back along with jeeps and a climbing wall for something new
  • Stage entertainment: a great line up booked in

Don’t forget to BYO coffee cup, water bottle and bags and help us work towards our goal of zero waste.

Finally, if you see any of our external volunteers on the day, please acknowledge the time they have given to help us all. The Maori Wardens are on traffic, the Menzshed help on parking, Waste No More help on recycling, LUG 4/2 are in the Lego room and the Motueka Community Store is at the White Elephant stall.

Wishing you all a wonderful school holiday and a great Easter Fair day!
