Setting Goals in MAHOE
We have been using bean bags to help us learn how little steps and little changes can help us achieve our goals.
Ruma Mahoe has been playing a range of games involving bean bags we borrowed from Sue Neal. We have played stuck in the mud with beans bags on our heads, we have tried catching them in a cup and throwing them different distances. We needed to adapt our techniques in order for us to achieve our goal. We worked out the best way to balance something on our head is to hold up our chin. We threw under arm so that the bean bag flew in the shape of a rainbow which made it easier to catch. We didn't throw too hard. We had to move and track. We also tried sitting down, running on the spot, spinning around and then throw and throwing really high. Some of these were not so successful!
