The Love Project

Sarah Trolle —

12 students from Māpua School showcased their creative talents at an art exhibition during the school holidays

We were super proud of the 12 creative students from Māpua School who designed postcards for the Jester House Love Project running for the month of February. We celebrated their work on Friday 31 January with drinks and nibbles at Jester House.

Their postcards are on sale to the public during February and can be posted to friends and family. The idea behind the project is to spread the message of love to others. Each student created a piece of work of what love means to them. Our artists ranged in age from 5 to 12 years.

The student's work is for sale as a silent auction until the end of February with a donation to be given to The Kai Collective (a Moutere community group who create meals for families and vulnerable members of our community) and the rest of the money to the young artist.

A big thank you to Judy and Steve Richards at Jester House for organising this creative and generous initiative. The kids and I enjoyed working on the project together!
