Mahoe has been working on a self-portrait using Hundertwasser as inspiration.

We looked carefully at his paintings and noticed that he used lines, lollipop trees and he painted nature in the background. Hundertwasser did not believe in straight lines as nothing in nature has such lines. He also believed in harnessing the beauty of nature and creating a relationship with nature rather than against it. 

We found out that he was born in Austria, Vienna and that he changed his name from Friedrich Stowasser to Friedensreich Hundertwasser. He died in Australia and designed and helped build the Kawakawa toilets. Here are our paintings...
