E&E time is part  of Toetoe's regular morning programme.  It is a time of exploration, investigation, and creativity (ie, fun!).  It is fantastic to see creative, passionate and focussed children as they go about their activities. E & E also provides great opportunities for the tamariki to practise their co-operative, sharing and negotiating skills. 

Toetoe are always on the hunt/scrounge for ‘things’ that would be useful to us during this time. Do you have any ‘loose parts’, craft scraps, building offcuts or other bits and pieces, lurking in your cupboard or garage because we would LOVE them!! 

The sorts of things we would keen to have (but are not limited to!)...

• buttons, nuts, bolts, beads, clothes pegs, ribbon, corks, droppers, squirt bottles, interesting fabric, dress-ups you no longer want, old electronics we can break-up (the toaster and ghettoblaster have been a hit), guttering, pvc piping, sandpit toys, small fir cones, cotton wool, fridge box, wood off-cuts or planks, beads, packing/duct/masking tape, unused shampoos, shaving cream, liquid soaps, herbs, spices (for mixing 'potions')...
